The Campus Planning Task Force will meet again on Monday, May 8. Any congregational members with an interest are invited to attend. In the upcoming meeting we will be looking at as many possibilities for using the resource of our property as we are aware of and the decision factors that must be considered in evaluating projects.
Decision factors will include things such as financial issues, values, target service group, sustainability and feasibility. Input is appreciated regarding any ideas that members of the congregation my have. Please feel free to talk to any Task Force members to share your opinions or to ask your questions.
On May 14, the adult forum will also provide an opportunity to offer input to the process. It’s a great opportunity to learn more and to offer your own possibilities. We hope you will participate.
May 21 is a big day. The PoP-Up Carnival will take place from 5:00-7:00pm with many activities and opportunities to support the work that is being done with Settled. A demo tiny home will be on site for people to explore. An open house is being held from 6:00-8:00pm for community members to visit and ask questions about our tiny home settlement. Your attendance and support is appreciated.
