Maintaining focus is the real challenge of living a faithful life, not eliminating doubt. God’s invitation to join in creating something new requires critical thinking and not blind obedience. So in times as tumultuous as these, how far away are we willing to step out of this boat?
Faith is learned through stories. Even before they were written down, Bible stories were told orally. Immersing ourselves in favorite Bible stories is something we do as children. But these stories aren’t just for kids; they’re for people of all ages. Each time we hear a story or read a passage, we may hear something new and realize how this story speaks to us in this time and this place.
