The Property Management team has a balancing act.

Our building is aging, and society is changing.  Think about things that age or have changed like doors and windows; electrical service; roofs and HVAC; security and technology. The team reviews the building for maintenance needs and improvements and then evaluates those potential projects based on:

  1. Is this a safety issue or is it required by law?
  2. What impact will this work have as a support to our ministry?
  3. How much will it cost and is it cost effective?
  4. Has funding already been designated, available or needed?
  5. Is this a need or a luxury?  If necessary, is it necessary now or later?
  6. Can work be done by volunteers or is a contractor needed?
  7. Should the project be done at all or not?
  8. Who is willing to coordinate necessary work by getting estimates and coordinating with appropriate volunteers or contractors?

More participation in this work is welcome either on the Property Management Team, as a project manager or as a volunteer.

Let us know if you have any skills or interests that you or someone in the congregation may have that could be helpful. Tell us about any building and property needs that you think need to be addressed.
